The incident happened in Putnam County on Saturday, Feb. 3 just before 4:30 a.m., when a car crashed into a pole on Croton Falls Road in Mahopac near the Westchester border, according to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department.
Three people involved in the crash were taken to a hospital to be evaluated, firefighters said.
The cause of the crash was not released.
